If you are building or renovating, these fun, informal workshops will give you all the basics of creating spaces to work with our beautiful SE Queensland climate. At a workshop last year, a participant offered a new name for this process - "design counselling for couples"!

- climate data and reading average weather patterns for your area (and what this means to your actual site)
- orientation, room layout and gardening to create a microclimate around your house
- thermal mass and where it's needed
- eaves, verandah and window design for optimal natural comfort
